Watermelon Sorbet

As you might know, if you've read many posts here at Family Travels on a Budget, my favorite vacation souvenir is FOOD! Recipes, to be exact!

I shared my French-inspired watermelon sorbet recipe this week at Sarah: Simply Me. Please stop by and check it out!

What's the best thing you ever ate on vacation? Do you recreate it at home?

Happy travels!

Mmm... watermelon sorbet sounds divine! Vacations always = weight gain (happy weight gain). LOVE dining out while on vacay!

Yum! This sorbet sounds divine! My favorite vacation dishes have been either flounder francaise or grilled tuna with a honey mustard sauce. I guess the one I've tried to recreate at home (from an airport restaurant) might count - a grilled chicken panini with a special sauce and sun dried tomatoes!

My best vacation food, unfortunately - I can't recreate at home because the recipe is a closely guarded secret! I am talking about frozen butterbeer from Harry Potter world in Universal studios Florida. Never had anything better on vacation!!!

That sorbet looks so good! I think the last thing we made at home was bbq chicken on the grill that we had eaten on vacation. So good.

My husband has a fantastic palate and figures out closely guarded secrets all the time! We will add frozen butter beer to our list of foods to explore. Love a challenge!
