Today's guest post is written by Ryan, a Q&A about charter jet travel. To be honest, I have never considered charter jet travel before. In fact, I expected it to cost upwards of $10,000 for a trip, definitely NOT in my budget! But one day, I sure would like to give charter jet travel a try. Read on... and tell me, where would you go and who/what would you take with you on a charter flight?
Many people haven’t been on a private jet before, and as a result there are quite a few misconceptions and questions out there. Here’s a few answers to questions that you might have if you’re considering chartering a jet:
Q: What’s different about a jet charter?
A: Things are quite different when you charter a jet instead of flying commercially. The biggest difference is the privacy that a jet charter affords. When you get to the airport you won’t have to worry about going through the same security as everyone else. Say goodbye to waiting in lines to go through the whole process! You also won’t have to share the plane with anyone you don’t know. Unlike a commercial flight, you can share the plane with your pets if you want. In most cases you’ll also have more room and upscale surroundings in the cabin. There are many smaller things that are also different, but these are the biggest differences you’ll notice.
Q: Is chartering a jet prohibitively expensive?
A: The short answer is “No.” Private jets were once thought to be the realm of the ultra rich, but that’s not the case any more. The benefits that come along with a jet charter often make up for any extra costs. Is it worth it to spend all day traveling when you could do it in a few hours? You can use advanced tools to find charters that fit your schedule and your budget.
Q: How do I find a flight?
A: As mentioned before, finding a private jet charter is easier than ever. You can find what you need online and search by any variable that’s important to you. The private charter experience is all about getting exactly what you want, and the search process is no different. If you find yourself with questions, you can always get in touch with the particular provider you’re looking into. They will be more than happy to answer any questions you have. You can also contact them with special requests that commercial flights would never be able to offer. Need to travel with an exotic animal or make a particularly convoluted flight plan for some reason? They can make it happen.
Q: What are you waiting for?
A: We can’t answer that, it’s time for you to get out there and find your jet charter!

If I could afford to I would absolutely charter a private jet to take my family across country to visit with grandparents and friends. It's gotta be so much nicer to travel with kids that way. :-)
Rosann,
I thought the same thing. How nice would it be to know the kids don't have to sit perfectly still or be perfectly quiet while flying from here to there. They could actually play cards or sing or talk. Priceless if you ask me! :) (Well, almost priceless)
Karen
Hey there love the blog! I would never think to charter a jet. Maybe in a few years..lol. But all joke aside the tips on Disney are great. Me and my husband have been trying to plan a trip and can never get the cost to a reasonable point but your tips really help and with the added perk of being a military family we may come out way cheaper. I let you know how it turns out when we go.
Nice one so many of us are having these queries and looking for the solutions to regarding charter plane service
In addition to the benefits of renting or owning a private plane for business people, when you own a private jet, you are not limited by the same protocols that are applied in airline jets. When you’re riding your own private plane, or you’re renting one, you can use your phone, send emails, and even conduct meetings while onboard. And the best part is that you can travel any time you want, and go anywhere you want to go.
Lilia,
Thanks for that information. Using air time to work means more time to relax on landing. :)
Someday...
That was a very good interview, Karen! I think Ryan covered the basics of the advantages of renting chartered planes and jets. And I definitely agree on his point about the cost. A lot of people think that renting a private plane or jet is expensive and impractical. But what they are not aware of is they can save a lot of travel time, compared with traveling on other modes of transportation, or flying commercial. Also, traveling comfortably is priceless.
